Removal and correction requests

How to ask us to correct or remove information shown in EntitySentry.

Last updated October 2026.

What you can ask for

EntitySentry reports what official government records say about business entities. If information shown in EntitySentry is wrong, out of date, or should not be displayed, you can ask us to correct or remove it.

  • Correction. An entity is matched to the wrong record, or a status we show does not match the agency record.
  • Removal. Information about you or an entity should be suppressed from our display.
  • Other. A question about what we hold, or a request for a copy of it.

One note on correction requests: because our data mirrors the agency record, a status that is wrong at the source has to be fixed at the source. We will correct what we display and tell you which agency holds the underlying record.

Covered persons

We honor removal requests under applicable laws protecting covered persons, including New Jersey's Daniel's Law and similar statutes in other states that protect judicial officers, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and their immediate family members. If you are a covered person, say so in your request and we will process it under the applicable statute's timeline.

EntitySentry does not offer search by a person's name, and officer, director, and registered agent details are never shown in our public pages.

How to submit a request

Email privacy@entitysentry.com, or use the form below. We acknowledge requests by email and may ask for enough detail to locate the record. We do not charge for removal or correction requests.
